Objective

The main objective of the association is to provide a well platform for Computer Engineering Student where they face different level of Competitions and also give them chance to show their talents.ACES also arrange a various kind of activities to make our students employable.

Activities Conducted by CSE association with ACES/ISTE chapter 2012-13

  •  Inauguration of ACES 2K12: 

    The inaugural of Association of Computer Engineering Students (A.C.E.S) was held on 10th August, 2012. The ceremony began with Lighting of lamps as a respect to Goddess Saraswati by chief guest Mr. Mandar Jog followed by Vice-Principal, H.O.D. Thereafter our respected Vice Principal Dr. S.S. Joshi Sir and H.O.D Mr. D.G.Chougule sir addressed to the students.

    The chief guest very charismatically spoke about Android Development. The day also marked the felicitation of toppers of  each year by senior staff members. Thus a great evening ended with the successful co-ordination of staff and A.C.E.S members.

  •  Fresher’s Welcome 2K12: 

    Fresher’s party was organized by ACES members to welcome the newly admitted students. It was an innovative medium through which the students were introduced and made to feel a part of TKIET family. The B.E students had interviewing the students on stage and to add to the fun one minute game show were also organized .

    At the end Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher were announced. The Day concluded with each one of the fresher’s exchanging smiles and their seniors by laughter.

  •  Celebration of Teacher Day :

    On the occasion of birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan,ACES has celebrated the Teacher’s Day on 5th Sept 2012.Students have taken a active participation in the function.The T.E. and B.E. student had conducted the lectures

     

  •  Celebration of Swami Vivekanand 150th Birth Anniversary :

    On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand,ACES has celebrated the birth anniversary on 12th Jan 2013.In the presence of our HOD Prof. D.G. Chougule Sir,all the staff member’s of department and students,we have celebrated this function.

     

  •  College level technical competition “Techno PremierLeague” :

    Under the title of “Techno Premier League”,there are three separate events was conducted.The events were technical aptitude test,group discussion and technical quiz. This event is organized by S.E. CSE students.The no. of participants participated in this whole event are near about 300.

     

  •  ”SOFTCOM 2k13″ under a national level paper presentation event Eureka2k13 :

    Department of Computer Science and Engineering has organized a National Level paper presentation event SOFTCOM 2k13 under Eureka 2k13 on 12th Feb 2013.For this event we have received a best response from students of various universities.Topics for the paper presentation were Grid Computing,Advanced Operating System,Cloud Computing,Network Security.Prof. S.S. Patil sir worked as a external judge for the event.Following companies has been sponsored our event-1)Virscent Technology,Jamshedpur 2)Quickfire Solution,Baramati 3)Knowtron Solution,Kolhapur

     

  •  A national level Android Application Development workshop in association with IIT Bombay and Vircent Technology:

    Department of Computer Science and Engineering has organized a National Level Android Application Development 2 days workshop in association with IIT Bombay.Department of Metallurgy,IIT Bombay organized a national level android competition under the title of Padarth 2k13.Our college is zonal center for this event.

     

  •  A national level Project and Industrial Problem Solver Competition “JIDNYASA 2k13″:

    Our college has organized a National Level Project and Industrial Problem Solver Competition “JIDNYASA 2k13″ on 5th April 2013.We have received a huge response from students of different universities.The Industry Problem Solver event was sponsered by “Shubham Industry,Islampur”.More than 30 project groups participated in project competition event.For Industry Problem Solver,students had given a different solutions for a problem given by the Shubham Industry.

     

  •  Project Idea Competition for second year student :

    Association of Computer Engineering Students organized a Project Idea Competition for S.E. students to encourage them.All the students of S.E. CSE has actively participated in the competition.This competition held at two stages-1)At Batch level 2)Final Competition.From each batch 2 groups was selected and after that the final competition was held on 3 April 2013.Judges has selected best three groups and winner prize has been given to the students by the hand of Head of Department Prof. D.G. Chougule sir.
